This Video completely captures the mood of the song, there is a real sense of isolation. This is created not only through the empty streets, but also through the fact that the director has chosen to shoot the video in black and white. when the music becomes more frantic and the protagonists inner devil is seen in flashes, the colour used is even more poignant, adding to the intensity of the song. This video never ceases to send chills down my spine!!

I love the way this video is unlike most other typical dance videos, in the sense that it doesnt simply show people dancing in a club. The simple images used in the different frames mixed with the shots of the singer simply saying the words in a non matrixed manner totally capture the mood of isolation and detatchment. This added to the fact that the frames seem to change with the beat always seems to put me in a trance and encourages me to get lost in the music (as a clubber would do upon hearing it out at a club). Nothing is taken away from the song itself,as the images work well to enhance the ideas expressed in the song. Love it!!
I like the 'pull-focus' in the shots, it's a nice way of capturing that insomniac feel.
